Many organisations configure their Internet Proxy Server to reject outgoing emails unless they carry an authorisation statement (or tag) within the emails subject line.
Packagesoft ERA 2012 (Email Release Authorisation by Packagesoft) provides an easy to configure client side email authorisation mechanism that checks outgoing emails, appointments and meeting requests for the presence of the subject line authorisation tag. If the specified tag is not present within the emails subject line ERA will prefix the existing subject content with the tag prior to sending:
Authorisation tags will be applied to all email addresses unless specified within the Address Exclusion list within the ERA Designer:
In the example configuration above all outgoing emails with the exception of emails addressed to packagesoft.com will require an authorisation tag (Released Authorised). Any emails addressed to packagesoft.com that incorrectly contains the authorisation tag, ERA will display the following warning and the tag will be removed:
All of the information, including branding, contained within the ERA message dialogs can be fully configured to suite your company requirements.
